Dani kindly bestowed upon me at least three cups of chickpeas from that enormous can so I made a chickpea rich version of this coconut curried red lentils. I had a bit of a heavy hand with the turmeric, carrots, and cayenne. It turned out to be a yellow-orange spicy mess until we found the perfect accompaniment: $1 crumbled feta (regularly $5.59!) that hardly smelled off at all.
Dani cut the strawberries. They were great.
